Description:
This event will be known distance 3d archery. Trophy divisions and payback divisions available. Archers will have 90 seconds to shoot each target. A time clock will be kept. Groups will have 5 minutes to score and return to the shooting line. ASA scoring will be used. Rangefinders are allowed and distance cards will be provided. Participants must provide their own equipment.
Registration:
Online registration will be accepted through the Ozark Outdoor Expo website. There are a limited number of spots per shooting distance. Registration will open February 1, 2025. Registration will close March 16th. On-site registration will only be accepted if spots are still available. There will be an additional $10 fee for all on-site registrations. NASP Registration only available on-site
Classes, Distance and Fees:
All known distance. Classes with target distances of 20 to 50 yards will shoot 20 targets. Archers will shoot 5 4-target stations. Archers will have 90 seconds to shoot each arrow. Junior Eagle/Eagle/NASP Classes will shoot a maximum of 15 meters at 6 stations.
Age Divisions – Age as of January 1, 2025:
Adult - Any age
Young Adult - 15-17 years of age
Youth - 12-14 years of age
Eagle - 9-11 years of age
Junior Eagle - Age 8 & Under
NASP - based on grade in school:
Future NASP - 3rd grade & under
Elementary 4th - 5th grade
Middle School - 6th-8th grade
High School - 9th 12th grade

Divisions
Open:
- No restrictions - Any bow, sight, stabilizers or release aid allowed (no crossbows)
Bowhunter 50
- Any number of sight pins, movable sight allowed and may be moved
- 12" front and rear stabilizers measured from the bow
- No magnification in lens allowed
Bowhunter
- Any number of sight pins, pins/sight may not be moved
- 12" front and rear stabilizer measured from the bow
- Magnification allowed
Barebow
- The bow must be free of sights, marks, or blemishes
- The bow must fit through a 12.2 cm ring when unstrung
- Fixed weights can be attached to the bottom of the riser
- All arrows must be identical in length, weight, diameter, and fletching
- Arrows clip onto the bowstring between nocking points
- An adjustable arrow plate can be used, but it can't extend more than 1/4" above the arrow
- A mechanical type arrow rest and cushion plunger are permitted
- A finger sling can be worn on the bow hand
Traditional
- Archers can use a recurve or longbow
- Archers can use a straight stabilizer that's no longer than 12 inches
- Archers can use a bow sling
- Archers can't use any devices for sighting, like clickers, drawchecks, or levels
- Archers can't make adjustments to their bow during a round, except if it is broken
- All arrows must be the same length, weight, diamete, and fletching
NASP
- Genesis Original or Mini bows will be allowed
- Easton NASP Arrows
- No release aid, sight or stabilizers allowed
Awards
Buckle/Medal - Junior Eagle/Eagle/Youth/Young Adult •
- A buckle will be awarded to the top archer in each NASP/Jr Eagle/Eagle/Youth/Young Adult class with 5 or more archers
- A medal will be awarded to 2nd and 3rd in classes that earn a buckle and 1st, 2nd and 3rd in non-buckle classes.
Payback/Buckle - Adult classes
- Championship Male/Female classes will be a 75% cash payback
- Adult classes will be a 50% cash payback
- Cash payout per ASA guidelines
> 1-5 shooters 100%
> 6-10 shooters 70%/30%
> 11+ shooters 50%/30%/20% |
- A buckle will be awarded to the winner in adult classes with 5 or more shooters
Practice Bags
- Friday 2-6pm $10 per hour or $25 pass (Facility closes at 6pm)
- Eagle/Junior Eagle $5 for one hour of practice
- No 3d targets available on Friday
